Tony Vinson (born February 28th, 1993), better known by his stage name Lil Thony, is an American rapper, and songwriter. Lil Thony debuted in 2011 as an underground unsigned artist from the south side of Atlanta, Georgia. Known for his distinguished musical videos such as (Stretch It) and (Send it in the Mail), Lil Thony is recognized as one of Atlanta's more unique Up and Coming artists. Lil Thony is currently signed to BAM Muzik Group, which is operated by his longtime friend and business partner Brandon "BAM" McWilliams, and Defiant Entertainment (Defient), which is operated by B.O.B's managers Brian "B Rich" Richardson and Greg Calloway.
Early Life and Career
Lil Thony was born Feb 28th, 1993 in [Park, Georgia]. As a youth he always embraced the entertainment industry, being a sports advocate with a love for poetry, music, and comedy. As he developed he was always known as the curator of unforgettable moments. Always recognized for being a class act, Lil Thony was always skilled in his ability to win people over through his personality. His love and passion of music was heavily influenced by his cousins, who would always introduce him to the latest music that gained popularity through the streets of Atlanta, Ga. His first stage performance was for the song titled "My Band" by Eminem during a talent show at S.L.Lewis Elementary School. It was then that many peers felt he had what it took to be a professional entertainer. Lil Thony began recording at the age of 14 years old when he attended [|Westlake High School].
As Lil Thony got older the street life became more difficult to ignore. After a while the social distractions, and lifestyle that the street life attracted made it difficult for Lil Thony to continue on a straight path. After several run ins with the law for various activities from gambling, possession of illegal narcotics, suspicion of theft and pimping, Lil Thony was expelled from all schools in [County, Ga]. He was then forced to go to an alternative school where his friend and business partner "BAM" encouraged him to get his GED. Since then he has been able to remain under the radar as he began to take his music more serious.
